Podiatrist

Dr. Aboo is a highly experienced podiatrist with over 20 years of expertise across South Africa, the UK, and the UAE. After completing his podiatry studies in South Africa, he practiced in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) and private clinics. Upon his return to South Africa, he co-founded four clinics under the Sayed and Rajah Podiatrists brand, which are now successfully managed by associates. He also took on an academic role, lecturing at the University of Johannesburg, where he advanced to become the Program Director.

Dr. Aboo’s areas of specialization include foot biomechanics, sports podiatry, and diabetic foot care. His expertise has been recognized internationally, including his presentation on lower limb injuries at the 2010 FIFA Medical Conference. As a Clinical Director for Special Olympics UAE, Dr. Aboo plays a key role in training healthcare practitioners to deliver top-tier foot care for athletes with intellectual disabilities.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Aboo initiated a home-based oxygen care program, which gained media attention and was featured on Sky News. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys traveling and is fluent in English, Tswana, Zulu, and Afrikaans.
